Trying to catch up on late posts here, so I'll stick to the highlights and keep things brief (unless there's a story to go along with it).
Back in late March, a fairly large group of Oriental Plovers showed up on Jeju. This species is not very common in Korea, but often they show up in small numbers on Jeju in March and April. This year, however, around 30 showed up in the southwest of the island, as well as a few more elsewhere such as Seosan. We were lucky to head down there at the right time to catch excellent views of two, a male and a female, in nice breeding plumage as well.
