About mid-December, I caught word of an Oriental Stork that dropped by a coastal area on Jeju, and not wanting to pass up an opportunity to see a stork, I dropped by in the morning hoping to find it. There it was, resting with a large group of egrets, herons, and cormorants. I was able to get quite close views, and noticed it had a white band on its leg, E68. Later I found out it was banded in Yesan in May earlier this year.
Also nearby were the usuals in this area, including Light-vented Bulbuls and a Red-billed Starling.
