An early April visit to Mara-do was very nice, with a wide variety of species seen and encountered. Great Knot was a surprising one, as well as a few other shorebirds present on the outer coastal edges of the island. Thrushes and Flycatchers, Manchurian Bush Warbler, and Red-flanked Bluetails were among other species fairly numerous this day.
