A bit of a memory post here, this rather rare species of snake was seen in Southwest Jeju in August on a cloudy morning. The Chinese Many-toothed Snake, Sibynophis chinensis 비바리뱀, is found throughout Southeast and East Asia, but Jeju is the only spot where you can find one in Korea. There's also the possibility that the Jeju population may be their own species. This one was a juvenile, rather tiny if you compare it with the screws in the photo. A week before this I saw a larger adult nearby.
